About Jessica

Avid reader, semi-professional fangirl, and chocolate aficionado, Jessica is a multi-published author. She writes Young Adult Fiction and Sweet Romance. Her YA pen name is Jess Evander

As a child Jessica possessed the dangerous combination of too much energy coupled with an over-active imagination. This pairing led to more than seven broken bones and countless scars.

Oddly enough, she’s worked as a zookeeper, a librarian, camp counselor, horse wrangler, housekeeper, and finance clerk, but now loves her full-time work in municipal government.

Former editor of both her college newspaper and literary journal, Jessica received degrees in both Communications and Biblical Studies.

What others are saying:

“Jessica Keller is a passionate, well-educated speaker. Her natural ability to share thoughts and stories in such a captivating manner makes her an excellent speaker. I know from experience that Jessica puts a lot of thought into each message she presents to others – both written and verbal. I would highly recommend Jessica to anyone who is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated speaker. One who will deliver a memorable message to whoever is within her audience.” – Karolyn Nelson

“I appreciated the vulnerability with which Jessica Keller shared her heart.  She is not hesitant to share the hard stuff because she recognizes that God is bigger.” -Molly Flinkman

Jessica has a degree in Communications and Biblical Studies with an emphasis on Youth Ministry. With over ten years of experience mentoring high school and college aged women, as well as directing sessions for all different age groups at summer camp, Jessica has demonstrated a passion for pouring into people and getting them excited about the things of God. While serving as a Resident Assistant during college, she won the RA of the Year award for the mentoring she did with the girls on her floor.

  6. Hello Jess, Looking foward to your blogs. The writing I do is to family and friends (now mostly emails). For many many years I have corresponded with my friend in Holland putting my thinking cap on to write in Dutch. That’s how you got that other Dutchy’s comment. PS How are you going to keep my cookies fresh all the way from the USA?

    • Ada – I was at my mom’s yesterday and she showed me a recent wedding picture that included your whole family. Still hoping I’ll make it to Australia someday and visit with you all.
